my mother an i went for a nice bike ride at caumsett park.  there were so many fair-weather cyclists with nice bikes… and none were locked.  so tempting.   the beach was very nice though.  why is long island so pretty?

i went home (a while ago) and my parents ripped apart the kitchen.  I’m pretty sure those fibers within the ugly fake bricks are asbestos.  Oh well.

Dave- the blurriness is due to being focused in on the fibers of asbestos…. which you’ll notice you can see.    But i will admit this is a bad photo.

We got a lot of snow…  i find the difficulty traveling and silence of the city a nice change.  I’m not looking forward to piles of dirty slushy snow.

jessie went outside and got soaked from playing in the snow.  So she borrowed nick’s snuggie to wear as pants.  Here she is performing the large sweatpants mating dance.
