my newest corinne-green step is to stop using paper towels to dry my hands.  but what to do with wet hands?  I’ve developed this method of drying my hands on my lower pants….  I wonder what people think when they see this.

1. Speak up in your own crits.  You have eyes and opinions, suggestions, etc.  SPEAK.   Lord knows your prof won’t say anything helpful.

2.  Don’t use mental ray physical sun & sky.  Its easily spotted and you can create your own lighting that honestly can look better.

3.  for fuck’s sake blur your shadows.

4. A little bit more effort into the shaders please.  -1o for every shader with no bump/displacement/layers/thought

5.  ANIMATION.  no one had nice secondary animation.  Everyone should have video taped themselves moving to try and get better animation results.  RESEARCH!  thats how you get better.

6.  APPROXIMATION EDITER/SUBDIV SCHEME!

7.  Camera cuts!

The bike is half working… rear brakes don’t work and i’m not sure what the problem is.  I’m going to do some research and see if i can fix them.  If not i might just switch to fixed and take off the damn thing.

So Chester asked me to go with pure to attend making time.  He tried to sell it by saying it was trance music.  Must have worked because i agreed to go.

I had a great time.  I drank two free PBR’s and then danced like i was a drunk idiot for a few hours (no one knew i was sober).  It was full of hipsters which made it kind of fun.  Bunker, Tyler (previously known as yacht kid), and Dylan showed up too.  Pretty cool. I only got ground up on once. My most current evaluation is that grinding is exceedingly boring, and should not happen.  Dancing like a dumb ass is much more fun.

I left extremely tired and stress relieved.   While i might never do this again, i am very glad i went.
