There was a possibility the shaft was going to be destroyed this morning. So I made a early crossing of the walnut street bridge. And it’s a shame they didn’t implode the shaft today, because it was a gorgeous morning. So instead I worked on effects!
oh yeah! VOP SOP me! …. Yeah I’m a little less than competent in VOPS, but i’m working on it.
sorry i haven’t updated in… forever. I have excuses… i’m just not going to list them here.
So i have a new apartment… i have yet to move into it officially. So time spent there is very similar to camping out
i’ll be happier once i have moved… but somehow before i move into an apartment i get very concerned… “what if there are lots of roaches?” “what if the plumbing explodes?” is it buyers remorse? fear of my parent’s approval? fear of pests? who knows!
anyway… expect a house warming party sometime once everyone gets back in philly :) I have a bottle opener… so you can bring wine.
and now for some advertisement?
I started reading this at the pool this morning. Its short and sweet, perfect for reading between lifeguard shifts. Its about an acquaintance’s experiences in a (probably Philadelphia) inner city school. So, if you ever need to write a sociology paper, kill time at the pool, feel like reading something, or want to support a young author… grab this book.
Have you ever walked over the spring garden bridge on the north side and seen the small spiral staircase down to the water? Today i decided to go down there. I biked around the other side of the art museum down to the waterwork then parked the bike and walked down the stairs. I climbed into a tree that over hung the water and ate my plain bread dinner/pre swim snack. You can almost forget about the sound of hundreds of cars on the expressway.
