went on a random hike in Griffith park. Randomly got off the bus early and had to walk past pony rides and parties until i found a trail . Here is a view of glendale. Oh yeah…… it was 100 degrees. Made it back alive, dusty, sun burnt, and headache-y. Yay adventure!

1. Sheets (really should have brought these with me
2. Best item i accidentally brought. It’s the case for my sleeping bag that i use for laundry now
3. pillow. <3 totally worth it
4. sewing kit
5. Rain jacket. seems silly but might be useful one day
6. travel sized books of secrets. purchased with senior exit survey money
7. book of secrets
8. hard drives. really really should have brought these with me the first time
9. keys for home
10. asshole headphones. i cannot work without them.
11. plaid. i tried to live without it, and ended up buying some at goodwill.
I like to take walks when i don’t have anything better to do. This was today’s. Just imagine if i had a bike!
i just wish there was more of a cafe/outdoor space culture. and it wasn’t so strange to be walking around.

And please don’t feel bad about me sleeping on the floor. I’ve never slept so well in my life. it’s a very cushy carpet.
Glendale has a giant outdoor mall (they have apartment’s above it so dLally should consider living here if he crosses over to the dark side aka. dreamworks). And at night they have a water & light show to lounge-like music in the middle of this mall-like place.
Glendale is rather suburb-y but i’m close to a lot of cool things that i like. Goodwill, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Normal Grocery store, a diner, YMCA, library, etc… There are also those hills that surround the valley that are just BEGGING for a hiking trip. :)
I think i can make this work.
I haven’t learned how to make these look pretty yet. Any tips?
