ITS ALMOST DONE.  WAITING FOR ONE PART and then i’m done!

So last time i went to the art museum i really like this one piece, but i forgot the artist’s name and couldn’t find him on the website collection.  So i had to return.

This is the work of Tim Hyde named Untitled (monument).

its a photo collage installation.  You can see the near perfect splicing of the multiple photographs.

He does a lot of work with photography as well as film.  and most of his themes are about time, perception, and space.  I liked these because they were elegant.

its really no wonder i like these.  The splices mimic the lines of Demuth paintings.  and the photgraphy is simillar to documentation of a Happening.  They are funny and impossible, but interesting and complex, with flawless craft.  I dig it.

So this is how i make rice and beans.
Rinse 1 cup of dried beans and pick through them looking for weird beans. Soak overnight in water.

The next day…..

cut up whatever veggies you have in the fridge.  Onions, carrots, celery, peppers, etc.  saute. and garlic! must have that.

add in beans and then about two glasses of water.  Add in bayleaves, cayenne pepper, cumin, salt, black pepper, splash of hot sauce,  or chilli powder (whatever you feel like and have around).

bring to a boil.  Turn down and simmer for about 2 hours.

Start rice in the last half hour.   Enjoy.

this is what your normal sugar comes from.  Gross right?

i think i might be improving.  But not with maya shading….   :)

i am less angry now.  Mostly i’m just sleepy… but i just want smart house to be over… and i don’t want to put people into my renders.  : )

i could never ever ever be a render wrangler.  No matter how long i have to live on rice & beans i will never take that job.
